Oppourtunity in Agriculture
Wednesday August 19 to Sunday August 13 at the 4-H Building from 9 am to 6 pm
What an opportunity for children ages 4- 12 to learn about agriculture. The children will have a chance to meet some farm animals, including sheep, goats, miniature donkeys, goats, chickens, rabbits and turkeys. They will also have the opportunity to participate in the “tractor pull”, where the children will take their pedal tractors and race around the race track with the winner receiving a prize.
“Agriculture in Our Community” Contest
Children ages 5-12.
Draw or colour a picture (8 1/2 x 11” paper) about any type(s) of agriculture in our community. The picture should be coloured and represent what “Agriculture in Our Community” means to the child. Winners of the contest will win a Pass to the Midway for a day.

Picnic in the Park
Sunday August 14-, 2016
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Kids ages 5-12 can join Miss Grande Prairie Stompede, Miss Teepee Creek, Miss High Prairie, Miss William’s Lake, and Miss Rodeo Canada
for a picnic and autograph session across from the food booths by the sound stage
Look for the fair representative handing out “Picnic in the Park” ribbons. That ribbon entitles the child to a complimentary lunch at the South Peace United Church Booth.
Colouring Contests will be available for children to color and children from the Picnic in the Park will be entered for a chance to win all day ride wristbands to the midway.
The bouncy castle is between horse barn 1 and 2 and is right across the road from the sandbox. The Bouncy Castle will be open Thursday August 7 1:00-5:00 pm; Friday & Saturday August 12 & 13 2:00 – 7:00 pm and Sunday August 14 11:30 am- 5:00 pm.
The bouncy castle has two slides and a ball pit!.
